The Label:

There were days in the Nineties where you regularly had to hit the "DEL" - Button on your PC keyboard to reach the heart of your system - the "Basic Input Output System." Around that time a new style of electronic dance music from England had its first peak: The Music that is now known as "Drum'n'Bass".
Ten years later it's time to go back to the heart of this beautiful music, time for a BIOS-Update. But it's not about configuring your system, it's about configuring your breakbeats.

Amaning from Germany is the system administrator - his mission is to carefully select strong,
quality tunes for his new imprint which is not about him as a producer but good music.
The focus is to release good drum'n'bass, no matter where it's coming from or who programmed it.
There will be music from established producers as well from up and coming artists, all styles will be represented. Quality not Quantity!


The Record:

BIOS 002 welcoms a new Producer onboard, Motion from Bath, UK a up & coming producer already becoming alot of attention through his numerous releases on INFRARED, Camino Blue Recordings or Covert Operations.

On the A-side of this 12" Motion whips up steppin beatz with unique indian flavours that mold into a deep & rolling peace of Drum & Bass Music.
This tune has a strong dancefloor approach to due to its catchy vibe & nicely placed reeces and percussions. BIG!

On the flip Motion delivers "The Sun at 5 am" feat. the beautiful vocal talents of Hannah C, this strong liquid roller gets straight to the point with its clear drums, easy melodies and Hannah´s floating vocals to round this of as strong follow up to BIOS 001.
